Historical Progress On Unity Movement

I have pleasure of reporting that unity steps undertaken by us and by our group has made substantial progress. A report on the subject under a head "Historical Progress on Unity Movement" is being enclosed herewith.

In view of substantial progress in unity process and efforts for collective DMS it is very much likely that there will be one collective DMS in Anandanagar this year that is on 6/7/8 June 2008. Please await the final instructions but in the meanwhile prepare yourself for a visit to Anandanagar on 6/7/8 June 2008.

Historical Progress On Unity Movement
30th April was the memorial day of the 17 WTs who were murdered by the CPM in the broad daylight in Kolkata in 1982. The procession was accompanied by all the delegates of the unity seekers along with WTs, Margiis and sympathizers which extended over one kilometer long and offered their respect to the Martyrs. This event came in first page news in all the newspapers of Kolkata.
A historical meeting to forge the unity took place on 1st May 2008 in the VIP hall of Tiljala where in the past all the CC meetings and CEC meetings took place. About fifty WTs attended the meeting included all the delegation from Unity Seekers, Central and sectorial workers (Dadas and Didis) of Kolkata administration.
The meeting started at 7 pm on 1 May 2008. The President of the Kolkata administration initiated and facilitated the meeting. First all the guest speakers were invited to speak and then all the remaining were all requested to speak. Everyone expressed with full enthusiasm about the need for integration of the organization and both sides wanted to give up the mean fights, bitter feelings and grievances of the past and wanted to go for an integrated family. No one differed. The junior workers of Kolkata administration played an inspiring role by expressing their active support and eagerness to forge unity at the earliest. They also entertained all the delegates with their cordial feelings that touched the heart of the delegates and stirred the past memories of working together. The intensive vibration for unity was felt by one and all and a rational understanding dominated the scene.

The concrete results achieved in this historical meeting were-
1. To organize a collective Sadhana Shiviir on 2, 3, 4 June 2008 at Ananda Nagar which will be attended by entire the WTs of Kolkata administration and all the WTs of unity seekers. Apart from this all the WTs of Ranchi administration will be invited too. This Sadhana Shiviir is expected to be an historical event for further or final integration.
2. The upcoming DMS which will be held on 6,7 & 8 of June 2008 is declared as a collective DMS in first phase. The detailed modalities are still to be worked out. The integration of different aspects of DMS will take place in phase wise.
3. The Interaction Committees of both sides committed to continue their intensive effort to forge unity.
This event has brought a great hope in the Marga society that a united organization is not very far.
