Bangalore Chapter of RAWA - Musical evening 08.03.08 (Continued)

Dear brothers and sisters,

This is in continuation of my email dated 07.03.08. The artists who are going to perform on the RAWA function today are as follows:

1. Miss Keerthana Ravi – Bharathanatyam Danseuse - invocation dance based on prabhat samgiita – a shivagiiti – ‘jay shiva swayambho pashupate.

2. Smt Archana Udupa – will sing 3 songs of Prabhat Samgiita:
a. In Sanskrit : Krisnosti Purusottamah
b. In Bangla: Tumi amar Dhyan
c. In Hindi: Tum Ho mere Krishna Jagatpati

3. Mr. Parameshwar Hegde will render following 3 prabhat samgiita songs:
a. Ist Sanskrit :- Shiv Sankara he subhankar,
b. IInd Bangla :- Tumi Bhulo na more.
c. IIIrd Hindi:- Malik ho mere.

4. Ac. Tattvavedananda Avt. will render 3 songs of prabhat samgiita:
a. Tvam mama priya (Sanskrit)
b. Se din sandhyaye (Bangla)
c. Ankhiya tumhiko chahati hai (Hindi)

5. Dance dram titled ”Pranam Tumhe Sadashiv” by Nurpura School of Bharathanatyam, Direction and choreography by Smt. Lalitha Srinivasan (Director of Nurpura Academy)

The above programme has been very widely circulated in media particularly vernacular media (paper clippings enclosed).
